काम कर्तव्य अधिकार
· सभाका निर्णयहरु कार्यान्यवन गर्ने गराउने ।
· वार्षिक कार्यक्रम बजेट प्रगति विवरण लेखा परिक्षण प्रस्तावहरु तयार गरी स्वीकृति वा अनुमोदनको लागी सभामा पेश गर्ने
· बिधार्थी शुल्क निर्धारण गर्ने ।
· विश्वविधालयका शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारीहरुको दरबन्दी तोक्ने र सेवा आयोगको सिफारिसमा नियुक्ति र बढुवा गर्ने ।
· विश्वविधालयको चल अचल सम्पतिको रेखदेख।
· सम्बन्ध दिने तथा अनुदान सिफारिस गर्ने
· डीनहरु कार्यकारी निर्देशकहरु केन्द्रीय विभागका प्रमुखहरु र क्याम्पस प्रमुखहरुको नियुक्ति गर्ने ।
सेवा आयोग
विश्वविधालयका शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारीहरुको नियुक्ति तथा बढुवाको लागी सिफारिस गर्न
· कुलपतिबाट नियुक्त व्यक्ति अध्यक्ष
· सदस्य लोक सेवा आयोग सदस्य
· प्राध्यापकहरु मध्येबाट एक जना सदस्य
अवधि ३ वर्ष
सेवा आयोगले शिक्षकको नियुक्ति तथा बढुवा गर्दा प्राज्ञिक क्षमता र अनुभव तथा कर्मचारीको नियुक्ति तथा बढुवा गर्दा प्रशासनिक दक्षता तथा अनुभवलाई मुख्य आधार बनाउनेछ ।

IT policy of Nepal, 2072
At least 75% population will have digital literacy by 2020. 90% will have broadband facility. By 2020 entire population of Nepal would have access to internet.
Policy: Human resource, ICT in eduction, R&D, Promoting public access and content development, Developing the ICT industry sector, ICT for government service innovation and good governance, ICT in SME and promotion of e-commerce, Telecommunication infrastructure, Convergence of telecommunications, ICTs and broadcasting, ICT in agriculture, tourism, health, Telecommunication and ICTs in mitigating the impact of climate change, ICT in Environment and natural resources, Telecommunications and ICTs for natural disaster preparedness, mitigation and relief, Human exposure to EM fields and safe disposal of electronic waste, Conformance, interoperability and standards in telecommunications and ICTs, Cloud computing, access to telecommunications and ICT services for rural and remote areas, access to telecommunications and ICT services for persons with disabilities and specific needs, ICTs for youth, women and girls, Building confidence and security in the use of ICTs.
